Technical Supervision

According to regulations, devices designed to assist people with disabilities are subject to strict technical supervision. This means that individuals interested in maintaining these devices must obtain specialized certificates issued by the Technical Supervision Authority. The first step to acquiring the necessary qualifications is to participate in a course preparing for UDT certification in the field of platform operation.

Training Program at ERGON

By enrolling in our course on the assembly and operation of specialized equipment for people with disabilities, you will receive comprehensive training necessary for working in this field. Training Scope

  • assembly and operation of specialized devices for people with disabilities,
  • effective maintenance of these devices.

What the Course Includes

maintenanceThe course consists of both theoretical and practical modules, where participants gain knowledge about:

  • types and construction of platforms for people with disabilities,
  • common technical issues and their solutions,
  • legal aspects of working with devices for people with disabilities,
  • responsibilities and safety at the workplace.

Certification

A UDT certificate is evidence of the skills and qualifications required for working with devices for people with disabilities, valid for 5 years from the date of issue.

Course Requirements

To enroll in the course and obtain a UDT certificate, candidates must:

  • be at least 18 years old,
  • have completed at least primary school,
  • be physically capable of working as a maintenance technician.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of a maintenance technician include:

  • regular technical inspections,
  • maintenance and technical improvements,
  • replacement of parts and consumables,
  • repairing faults,
  • preventing breakdowns,
  • maintaining technical documentation.

Types of Devices

The most commonly encountered devices include:

  • stair lifts,
  • platform lifts,
  • vertical platforms,
  • shaftless platforms.
