Welding technology training

At our welding courses, you will acquire the necessary professional qualifications and skills for working as a welder. You will gain practical skills and theoretical knowledge. We have a team of qualified specialists who ensure that knowledge stays with our course participants for a long time.
We offer courses for beginners, as well as for advanced welders and those who want to renew their qualifications.
The profession of a welder requires great precision and technical skills, which you will undoubtedly gain in our courses!
Our training is regulated in accordance with current regulations and standards of the Technical Inspection Authority.
After the training, each participant receives a certificate of completion confirming the qualifications to work as a welder.
In welding, there are several methods, including:
  • Gas welding - using wire as a filler,
  • Shielded metal arc welding - using an electric arc,
  • Gas shielded welding - welding with a fuel method in the presence of active gases,
  • Submerged arc welding.

Submerged Arc Welding

Submerged arc welding is a very popular welding method, often referred to as welding under flux. It is a method in which the arc is shielded by a layer of protective flux. This technique is mainly mechanized due to its high precision and is used in heavy metal industries. It works exceptionally well for joining plates with a thickness of 2 to 100 millimeters.
Advantages of submerged arc welding:
  • Minimal emission of gases,
  • Excellent gap filling,
  • High and efficient welding speed.

Gas Welding

Gas welding is used for repair and maintenance work. It is often practical for welding thin pipes, such as gas, water, or district heating installations. It is important to note that no power supply is used during gas welding, and thus, there are no limitations imposed by cables, making this method suitable for fieldwork. Acetylene is the most commonly used fuel gas for gas welding, known for its very high temperature - around 3100 degrees Celsius.
The gas welding method is commonly referred to as "autogenous welding." While this technique has been replaced by electric welding devices, it remains the best choice in many situations!
Advantages of gas welding:
  • High efficiency and welding speed,
  • Wide range of welded thicknesses,
  • Low equipment costs compared to electric welding,
  • Simple welding technique.

Shielded Metal Arc Welding

Shielded metal arc welding, also known as manual metal arc welding (MMA), is a technique in which the electrode is held in a holder and is also the source of the shielding gas. The electrode shortens during work, which distinguishes it from other methods. This technique is most commonly used for installation work. Shielded metal arc welding requires a high level of accuracy and manual dexterity.
Advantages of shielded metal arc welding:
  • Possibility to weld different types of metals and alloys,
  • Possibility to weld in field conditions - at heights or underwater,
  • Possibility to weld very thin elements.

Welding in Gas Shields

Welding metals in gas shields is classified as a group of welding methods because, after igniting the welding arc between the electrode and the base material, the metal melts. Filler electrodes such as GMA (Gas Metal Arc) are used for welding. This technique is most commonly used in the construction of metal structures. The method is divided into two other techniques - MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and MAG (Metal Active Gas). In MIG welding, inert gases are used, while in MAG welding, chemically active gases are used.

WE OFFER COURSES FOR BOTH MIG AND MAG WELDING TECHNIQUES IN METAL SHIELDS!

What is welding?
Gas welding is a welding process that uses heat to melt the edges of the welded metal. This process is achieved by using a filler. However, if you want to achieve material continuity in the joint, you do not need a filler.

Questions and Answers:

What characterizes welding?

Gas welding is a welding process that uses heat to melt the edges of the welded metal. This process is achieved by using a filler.

What are the welding methods?

There are four welding methods: gas welding - using wire as a filler, shielded metal arc welding, gas shielded welding - welding with a fuel method in the presence of active gases, and submerged arc welding.

What qualifications will I gain from the course?

After the training, you will gain UDT, OHS, and TDT qualifications.
