Preventing major industrial accidents, including hazard control related to hazardous substances in facilities with increased and high risks according to European Parliament and Council Directive 2012/18/EU - (SEVESO III)

We provide professional training for employees of facilities with increased or high risks. We teach early threat detection and crisis management procedures in case of serious emergencies. All classes are conducted by specialized training staff in accordance with current national and EU regulations.

Serious Incidents - Definition

A serious industrial incident is a situation that occurs due to unforeseen circumstances related to warehouse, transport, or production work. This includes fires and explosions, in particular. According to the current definition, these are events in which the most significant factor is one or more substances classified as hazardous, posing an immediate and direct threat to the health and life of employees and individuals outside the facility, as well as the environment. It also includes situations that can cause delayed threats.

Facility with Increased or High Risk - Definition

A facility with increased or high risk is a workplace that carries the possibility of serious incidents as described above. Such facilities have a particular duty to prevent events that pose a threat to people and the environment. Therefore, a thorough understanding of occupational health and safety (OHS) principles plays a crucial role.

Training

Our training programs are designed for employees with extensive experience and those who are just starting to work in facilities with increased or high levels of risk. Employees of various roles, including directors, engineers, office workers, and others, can participate in the training. We provide knowledge in the field of occupational safety, early threat detection, and proper facility management. In addition to delivering the course program, our instructors also share their own experiences.

Training Prepares Employees for:

  • The goals and consequences of their work,
  • Safe work principles depending on their positions,
  • Recognizing signs of incidents,
  • Preventing industrial incidents,
  • Ways to mitigate the consequences of incidents,
  • Principles of protecting people and the environment from these consequences,
  • The frequency of facility inspections.

Legal Regulations

Due to the potential threat posed by industrial incidents, the regulation of procedures in case of their occurrence is defined by the Directive 2012/18/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council. The most important aspects of this regulation concerning OHS training are the frequency requirements. Employees working in particularly high-risk sectors must undergo training once a year. Positions related to manual labor require training at least once every three years, while office workers should undergo training once every six years. In addition, mandatory training is required for new employees. The type of initial training depends on the specific job position. Our courses are designed in accordance with these regulations.
