Sandblaster-painter in Offshore, Onshore according to NORSOK M-501 - Level 2

Sandblasting painter on offshore platform.

During the training with "ERGON" as a sandblasting painter, you will learn the essential aspects and corrosion-related processes while working with various painting coatings. Thanks to the training, you will easily perform conservation, protective, and painting work on onshore and offshore projects in Poland and abroad.

Training Program

Classes at our training center are conducted in a lecture format, after which the trainee proceeds to perform tasks under the supervision of our specialists.

Tasks performed during the training include:

Preparing the surface for painting,
Anti-corrosion protection,
Painting using various techniques,
Cleaning and preparing the surface before applying paint,
Mixing and diluting paint,
Conservation in the maritime and onshore industries,
Evaluating the quality of coatings.

Topics covered during the training include:

Discussion of various paint application methods,
Protective measures,
Principles of mixing two-component paints,
Discussion of chemical agents,
Legal regulations and safety principles (BHP),
Conditions and rules for paint application.

Classes are conducted with a focus on job safety, and the requirements for anti-corrosion protection comply with the NORSOK M-501 standard. Classes are offered to both beginners and practicing professionals, and our training can be tailored to individual client requirements.

Certificate

Upon completing the training and passing the exam, you will receive a certificate granting you the authority to work as a sandblasting painter in the offshore and/or onshore sector. The obtained certificate is recognized in countries such as Norway, the United Kingdom, Denmark, and others.

Our training and courses are conducted at our training centers, but we also offer a mobile service that can come to the client's chosen location. To facilitate learning for our clients, we offer online lectures, while the practical part takes place either in our training centers or at the client's premises.

Do I need a vocational education to enroll in the sandblasting painter training?

No, to participate in the sandblasting painter training, basic education is sufficient; we will teach everything from scratch.

No, to participate in the training, you need to have a medical certificate stating no contraindications; allergies to paint are a contraindication for working as a sandblasting painter.
